Richard Barkinskiy

Software by day. A ranked lobby and a ring light by night.

Richard Barkinskiy lives in Los Angeles. By day he is a software engineer. By night he is a gamer who films his own TikToks, then films them again, because the first take never sounds like a person and the second one does not either.

The algorithm has opinions. He has more takes than he meant to shoot. Somewhere between a pull request and a ranked match, the same phrases kept surviving the scroll: the ones people already say without thinking. He got tired of watching those lines disappear, so he printed the short list.

FYP Rare is that list. Tees and dad hats. One person. Phrases that stuck.

He will not tell you how many drafts the last video took.
